Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $77,000 – $95,000 per year (plus superannuation)

About the Position
We’re seeking an experienced Grade 2 Registered Nurse to take on a key hands-on role. You’ll lead a team of care staff while delivering personalised, high-standard clinical care that puts residents at the centre.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assessing residents’ needs, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes in accordance with nursing best practices
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care
- Administering medications, providing treatments, and closely monitoring responses
- Guiding and mentoring personal care workers and Enrolled Nurses to maintain safe, professional standards
- Communicating effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues—offering clear information, empathy, and support
- Promoting residents’ overall health, wellbeing, and preventive measures
- Managing medications safely and complying with all facility protocols
- Driving quality improvements and staying committed to your own professional learning
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with a true calling for aged care, who thrives in a team and leads with kindness.
Essential requirements:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards (as outlined by the Australian Government: https://www.agedcarequality.gov.au/providers/quality-standards)
- A recent National Police Check (within the last two months) or readiness to obtain one
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work rights (note: visa sponsorship is available for this role)
- Must currently be residing in Australia
Skills and experience we’re seeking:
- At least 1 year in a similar aged care nursing position
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and handle busy workloads
- Excellent communication skills, including accurate documentation and clinical handover
- Experience in calm de-escalation and conflict resolution
- Comfort with aged care software systems
- Strong grasp of occupational health and safety (OHS) obligations and regulatory compliance
