We’re looking for dedicated Seasonal Greenskeepers to support our Golf Course Maintenance team at North Shore Preserve, a stunning private community nestled on Kaua’i’s north shore in Princeville, Hawaii. This seasonal position runs from March 15, 2026, to December 15, 2026, with H-2B visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.
In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the pristine condition of our world-class Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed golf course, helping deliver unforgettable experiences for members, guests, and fellow team members.

What You’ll Do

• As a Greenskeeper, your daily work will focus on keeping the course in top shape through a variety of essential tasks, including:
• Mowing and trimming greens, tees, aprons, fairways, and rough areas using riding mowers and string trimmers—carefully navigating around trees, fences, banks, hillsides, and cart paths.
• Raking and grooming sand bunkers, edging pathways, and pruning shrubs with hand tools like shears or pruners.
• Setting up the course each day by placing tee markers and changing hole cups, filling divots with sand and seed, cleaning ball washers and flower beds, and replacing flags or towels as needed.
• Checking and maintaining fuel and fluid levels on equipment like mowers, utility vehicles, and carts; promptly reporting any issues to the equipment manager.
• Assisting with larger projects, such as watering and fertilizing key areas, applying treatments to landscaped spots (under supervision), marking cart paths and hazards, or helping build new tees, greens, or fairways.
• Supporting construction tasks like preparing soil, laying sod, seeding, excavating, or repairing irrigation systems.
• Operating light vehicles and machinery, such as small utility carts (e.g., John Deere models around 600 lbs.), while keeping work areas tidy and returning tools to their proper places.

You’ll work outdoors in a beautiful tropical setting, often starting early to prepare the course for play.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 months of prior experience in golf course maintenance or construction.
• A valid driver’s license (or international equivalent) and comfort operating trucks, golf carts, and light equipment.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools common in turf care.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and shifts longer than 8 hours.
• Physical stamina for outdoor work: standing/walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, reaching, squatting, and more in all weather conditions.

A background check will be conducted (at company expense).
